The GEEK SHOW PODCAST is hosted by five local geeks: Kerry Jackson (X96's Radio From Hell), Jeff Vice (Movie Critic / Deseret News), Scott Pierce (TV Critic / Deseret News), Derek Hunter (Comic book artist/author) and Shannon Barnson (Super Geek). Tournaments at GEEX
GEEX / Landing Zone
The tournament stage is sure to be a highlight at GEEX. The GEEX Team Fortress 2 and Counterstrike Source tournaments will all be held on the tournament stage and shoutcasted by Alex "Vansilli" Nguyen of World Cyber Games fame. Come and see some of the region's best gamers compete for over $25,000 in prizes. Register for the LAN party and gain access to all GEEX hosted tournaments. Landing Zone Gaming will also hosting various tournaments that are open to the public. Check out the tournament page for more details.
Magic: the Gathering Tournament Hastur Games and Comics
Play Magic? Want to learn? Hastur Games and Comics will be at GEEX and running Magic: the Gathering tournaments at their booth from noon until 5:00 pm each day of the event. Come early and learn to play. Build your decks and get ready to compete with your friends (and potential enemies).
These fine exhibitors will also be on hand putting on demonstrations and displays of their various products and services. Be sure to check them out in the main exhibit area.
